Dallas Fan Days 2019

For those of you who don’t already know, Fan Expo Dallas has two big conventions in North Texas each year. The first is Fan Expo Dallas, which is one of the largest conventions in DFW & occurs each Spring/Summer (depending on the year). The second is Dallas Fan Days, which is a bit smaller & held at the Irving Convention Center in Los Colinas each fall. While both conventions focus on providing a family friendly experience centered around pop culture’s intersection with nerdy fandoms, the biggest difference between the two events is the tone that attendees will experience as soon as they walk in the doors. Dallas Fan Days provides a more down to earth experience that lets attendees spend a little more time looking around with each part of the convention, without feeling rushed to move on to the next thing.

This year in particular, attendees have the chance to jump into a variety of table top games, ranging form D&D to a not-yet-released to the public role playing game based on the movie Aliens. Or if playing dress-up with fantastic costumes is more your speed, not only are there plenty of opportunities show off your own costume around the convention, but there are plenty of vendors available with custom made costumes & accessories available to help up your cosplay game. Animal lovers even get their own special event with the SPCA of Texas bringing out some fantastic animals looking for their forever homes that are ALL available for adoption!

And, of course, what convention would be complete without the autographs & photo ops! This year, you have the chance to meet Ron Perlman, Anthony Daniels, Patrick Warburton, Edward James Olmos, Adam Baldwin, & so many more. There is one day left to come & experience it all, so don’t miss out on all the fun!
