The True Origin Story of Tyreen Calypso - Borderlands 3
With the release of Borderlands 3 only a week old, we are happy to announce that we can bring you a fantastic interview with the new villain of the game: Tyreen Calypso, aka Elisa Melendez! Elisa is a Twitch streamer who worked her way into a collaborative role with Gearbox Software & was able to turn that into not one, but two voice acting roles (so far)! Her career has turned into a gamer’s dream come true, however, don’t think that she is all gamer & no substance. This voice actor also happens to hold a Ph.D. in Comparative Sociology from Florida International University & she works as the lead singer & songwriter for the rock band, Crimson. So, between achieving the highest academic honor a person can earn, streaming, singing, writing, gaming, & voice acting, Elisa has already achieved more through shear force of will than most of people do in an entire career. The craziest part is that this is still early for her, so there is so much more that she can do. Personally, we can’t wait to see what Elisa does next!
